DocNag ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by NOCAP LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the DocNag platform at docnag.nocap.llc.

2. Information We Collect

For Bookkeepers (Account Holders):

• Email address and password (for account creation and login)
• Company/firm name
• Payment information (for subscription billing)

For Clients (End Users):

• Name, email address, and phone number (provided by the bookkeeper)
• Documents uploaded through the platform
• SMS interaction history (opt-in/opt-out status)

3. How We Use Information

• Service Delivery: To operate the document collection platform, send reminders, and process uploads
• SMS Communications: To send transactional document request reminders and status notifications (see SMS Policy)
• Account Management: To manage bookkeeper accounts and subscriptions
• Security: To protect against unauthorized access and ensure platform integrity

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Twilio (SMS delivery), cloud hosting providers (data storage), and payment processors
• Bookkeeper Access: Bookkeepers can view their own clients' information and uploaded documents
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or court order

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Secure document storage with access controls
• Password hashing (bcrypt)
• Regular security assessments

6. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as the bookkeeper's account is active. Upon account deletion:

• Account information is deleted within 30 days
• Client data and uploaded documents are deleted within 30 days
• SMS logs are retained for 90 days for compliance, then deleted

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of SMS communications (reply STOP)

8. Children's Privacy

DocNag is not intended for use by individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
